I stayed in a larger room which was lovely but had a very small bed and torn curtains in the bathroom. The room overall was nice but dated, and I was surprised to find no power socket for EU plug, so I had to ask the front desk for a switch plug.

The room was lovely but dated. I encountered issues with the bed size and torn curtains in the bathroom. Lack of power socket for EU plug was inconvenient.
Service

The service at this hotel is outstanding, with very polite, professional, and friendly staff. However, I experienced a negative encounter with a staff member who was rude when claiming we hadn't paid.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel is excellent, especially for having parking spaces in a city center hotel. The staff member who assisted me was incredibly helpful and a true ambassador for customer service.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was okay, but not worth the price charged. There were friendly staff and a good variety of options, but the quality did not match the cost.
Facilities
The facilities offered by the hotel were satisfactory but could be improved. The availability of amenities and services was decent but not exceptional.

The hotel offers a spacious room that needs updating but is quiet with a comfy bed and seating area. The service is efficient and staff are friendly, always eager to assist. The location is central with easy access to shopping and attractions. The dining options are varied with tasty meals in a convenient setting. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement in some areas.

7.8/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great, near the train station and some bars I enjoyed visiting, but there was a lack of car parking space. The service was friendly and accommodating, with the reception desk being particularly helpful. The dining experience was decent, with self-service options available, but the peak dining times led to some crowds. The rooms had all the necessary amenities but had poor ventilation, making the evenings uncomfortably warm, and a view of a shared courtyard.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had all that was needed but were uncomfortably warm in the evening and night, requiring me to prop the window open with the Gideon's Bible.
Service
8.0
The staff were really nice and accommodating, especially at the reception desk. They were attentive to my needs, even understanding that I didn't need fresh towels or teabags.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was very good, adjacent to Forster Square railway station and close to The Shoulder of Mutton bar, bringing back nostalgic memories from my college days. However, the limited car parking was a downside.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was on a self-service basis, offering delicious and plentiful options. However, it could get crowded during peak times.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had various facilities available, such as dry cleaning, 24-hour room service, housekeeping, and laundry services, as well as a welcome drink provided.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were very spacious and clean, but I was surprised to find myself in a smoking room until 3:45. I felt that the rooms could have been improved with a small fridge, a safe, a full-length mirror, and air conditioning. The beds were a bit outdated and uncomfortable.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were very spacious and very clean, though I found myself in a smoking room, which I didn't realize until later. The beds were uncomfortable and outdated.
Service
9.0
I had a great experience with the service at the hotel. The staff was accommodating and went above and beyond to adapt vegetarian meals on the menu for me. I was impressed that they had prepared extra vegan options for both starters and main courses. I interacted with various staff members during my stay, and everyone was attentive and helpful.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, with good transport links to Saltaire village and the Worth Valley railway, including Haworth. It was a great place for a theatre visit, despite the trains not running at the time. The proximity to the city park and the train station made it ideal for meeting clients. Additionally, being within walking distance of the metro and Bradford Interchange added to its appeal.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the buffet offered a good variety of dishes that could be mixed and matched, some options seemed to be from cans, except for the bacon and sausage. It felt more like a greasy spoon diner rather than an upscale restaurant. I wouldn't opt for the same dining option on my next visit.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had adequate facilities, though I wish there were more amenities available. It lacked a few modern conveniences such as a fridge and air conditioning in the rooms. However, the 24-hour room service, housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning services, computer connection, and welcome drink were appreciated.
